Kayla is Seven

Unfortunately, the amount of pictures I take for their birthday depends entirely on my mood.

If I feel like it or not.

Lilly has exactly zero pictures when she turned three.

I feel a little bad about this, but not guilty.

I have made it a point to not stress out about not getting pictures if it just doesn't work out that way.

I'd rather enjoy the moment and have those memories than force it and get to look back on posed happiness.

I'm going to work on some pictures of Lilly this year though.  I want to have some kind of routine that will work for me.

So all that to say, there is absolutely no reason why there are more pictures of Kayla's birthday than there are of Lauren's.

I think on Lauren's birthday it was nasty outside and I just plain didn't want to go out.  And inside pictures really are tough to do if you don't have good light or just aren't feelin' it that day.

So enjoy Kayla's cute face.  Those green eyes are something to behold.
