My Dad gets some brownie points for finding this place.
Arbor Day Farms in Nebraska City, NE is pretty cool. It's about 30-45 minutes away from us.
They have a trail that you can walk along and a huge treehouse and this fun little kids discovery place.
There are musical instruments, a tree swing/hammock place,
huge building blocks, etc....
It is such a lovely place to walk around and let the kids have fun. Quite relaxing.
Here is a peek into one of our little adventures to Arbor Day Farms:
What on earth is this face????!!! Ha
Someone didn't brush their hair that morning. At some point in these pictures you will notice I made an effort to salvage a hairstyle onto these unruly tresses.

{right} This is the adorable 3 year old's "choke-hold". (also lovingly referred to as a hug. haha)

This is a fun section with just a bunch of random branches, stumps, and twigs where you can build things. Dan helped them put up a tee-pee.
(is that really how you spell that? It looks gross. lol)
Balancing on a log.
Somebody else is a little fuzzy on top. It was a bit rainy that day. The ponytail I put in Michaela's hair just was not match for those little curling, whispy hairs around her face!

My crazy bunch
These are the swings. They are just a bunch of large scarves that you can tie up to the tree house to make swings and hammocks and stuff. This is a big hit with the kids! Lots of giggling!

Jake's smile on command. ha
This, ladies and gentlemen, is a seven year old girl thinking she's pretty hot stuff. I asked her to take a picture and she immediately popped herself into this barbie/miss america pose.
no. I did not teach her this. This is innate girl.
Dan found some antlers. This is Lilly's growling animal face! lol

Walking along the trail.
Proof. Fall is here.

Will you email me a high resolution copy of the four of them together?? I absolutely love this picture and want to print it!!
