Amanda got to scratch something off her bucket list thanks to us.
we like to be helpful that way.
We went horseback riding
There weren't enough open spots for us all to go, so Dan (sweet guy) stayed behind
with the two big girls and got them pony rides while Amanda and I rode the trail.
It was kind of short (only 30 minutes) and I really miss riding.
I kept trying to lag behind so I could get a little trot going. :o)
that wasn't allowed.

My horse was named Cody. He supposedly likes to stop for snacks along the way.
I think horses know when their riders are in control/know what they're doing and when they don't.
He was a sweetie. Only tried to snack once.
Amanda's horse's name was Wilford. (I think...)

We were dissapointed that Dan and the girls couldn't come with.
But we are planning on going out again sometime soon so they can go for the trail ride!
They had a lot of fun anyway. :o)
Looks like you both had fun! I love hourseback riding. I really want to take a ride on the beach one of these days... There are a few places that do it here. Would love to make that happen!!
ReplyDeleteI love it too!! I used to take lessons. Funniest time was wandering the hollister hills freely on a horse with the lady that was teaching me!!! I miss it!
