baby{five}

Quotes and other fun facts from the last few weeks:

Lauren, Julia, & Lilly want a sister and Kayla wants a brother.
Kayla has voted for the name 'Gabriella' for a girl and 'Ethan' for a boy.
(well, if we're being honest she basically liked every boy name I listed off to her.)
Julia thinks the name 'Claira Julia' would be cool.  Either that or 'Funny'.
(she cracked herself up with that suggestion...)
Julia also agreed with Kayla that she liked the name:
'Grabliellaella'
(yes, I spelled that exactly as she said it)

I think it's a winner.

Kayla's eyes grew to the size of watermelons when she heard we were going to have another baby.
Since then, she has asked me every day if the baby is still in my tummy and when can we get it out.
I'm pretty sure Mini-Mom-Michaela is the most excited.

Lauren asks me every day how big the baby is now.
I think there is some amazement about the fact that baby is about the size of a sesame seed.

Our family picture in the snow (previous post) was taken specifically for our little
announcement.  It was killing me not sharing and keeping quiet about it.
Even though it was only a few weeks....I'm not the most patient person in the world. :o)
So I had to share but be sneaky about it. :o)

Dan and the girls were troopers while I dragged them out into the snow and 15 degree weather
so I could get my photos that I wanted. :o)

I was pregnant on Christmas....I just didn't know it yet. :o)  It's always crazy to think about
that.  Looking at those pictures from Christmas knowing now and knowing
that I didn't know then.  Just amazing.  And also to realize that God knew it all.  And planned this
even before I was born.

.blows.my.mind.

I am roughly 6 weeks along right now and have my first appointment next Saturday.
An estimated date of arrival is September 7th.  And considering I have been late with all my
babes there is a good possibility it could be born on my Dad's birthday or Kristin's birthday....

we shall see

We are very excited about our newest addition and we pray that she/he is a healthy little
sesame seed even now. :o)
